The Neo Classic Long Distance Bib Shorts Rucksuck by Biehler are one of the best long distance designed bib shorts we’ve tried, they’re extremely comfortable and the chamois feels great!

PROS: Great fit, nice choice of fabrics, look smart, very comfortable chamois pad.

CONS: Expensive, price makes these a premium purchase.

Quality and Comfort

The quality of fabrics used on these shorts is extremely good, the differences in texture make these shorts look very special. The subtle pattern to the lightweight fabric makes these shorts look very different from your usual italian lycra. The shorts are completely black, with black mesh bib straps and very subtle black graphics.

The stitching and quality of the seams is also noticeable with a strong appearance and feel, making these a robust fitting pair of shorts. The chamois is well made and has a good size and position in the shorts.

Comfort is extremely good thanks to the flat multi-density-pad which provides a good level of comfort without feeling too thick or bulky. There’s nothing worse than feeling like you’re floating around on a cushion.

The straps fit well with no noticeable tight areas or discomfort around the shoulders. The bib has a good length and provides very good support both around your waist and back.

The quality also shows in their generous sized leg grippers which sit well against your skin and keep the shorts firmly in place. The silicone gripper features their logo and fits well to most leg sizes.

Some nice attention to detail comes from their logo emblem, the subtle logo, rear reflective strips and a very nicely designed anatomical shape the fabric panels of the shorts.

Overall they feel extremely comfortable for any riding style.

The ‘Schoeller® Switzerland’ fabric is breathable, providing the best in aerodynamics and ventilation. The fabric is also treated with coldblack® technology, meaning they provide UVA- and UVB-protection, reducing heat build-up and providing reliable protection from the sun’s rays.

The flat multi-density-pad is a chamois designed for long distance or many hours in the saddle. It should easily provide comfort for rides of 100 miles + and ride times of 10 hrs +.

While riding the shorts perform extremely well with not a single issue. The ventilate very well, providing a good level of breathability as well as protection. The Coldblack fabric technology does a nice job at keeping you cool and will no doubt make these a perfect performer for long days in the summer sun.

The mesh straps and bib provide excellent fit across your shoulders and back without any tight areas.

The waist and hip area is sized very well for enough stretch in either direction and sits well against your skin with no loose areas of fabric.
